Fixed Points and Stability
A fixed point is a state that doesn't change over time in a dynamical system. Fixed points can be stable (attractors), unstable, or saddle points.
Condition Number
A measure of sensitivity of output to small changes in input. Large condition numbers indicate ill-conditioned problems that are numerically unstable.
Lyapunov Exponents
Exponents measuring the rate at which nearby trajectories separate. Positive Lyapunov exponents characterize chaos.
